It’s time for each of us to make sure we’re living prepared each day because none of us want to be unprepared when our Savior does return. So here are some of my thoughts on how we can live prepared.
When we obey the commandments, we are given strength and protection.
Sometimes we don’t need new messages from God, we just need to remember the ones we’ve already received. God has given His children messages and guidance throughout the history of the world. Each of these messages was significant to the people who received them, but they’re equally significant to us when we remember them.
The fact that it grows more challenging each day to stay as disciples of Christ proves that it’s more necessary than ever for us to establish ourselves in holy places – to gain a testimony of our Father and Savior and their plan for us.
Holiness is one of our best defenses. It’s the power of God becoming a foundational part of who we are, and it gives us incredible strength.
In spite of my own struggles with, and questions about, the Church, I’ve found reasons to stay. It’s a choice, every single time. And it’s a choice all of us face at some point or another.
At 12, I never thought I’d learn so much from climbing a mountain for a few hours. And now, I look back on that experience and see so much more than I ever could have back then.
If we want God to make a difference in our lives, it is according to our faith how much of an influence He will have.
There’s so much chaos around us right now. I need a break. And I need some clarity and peace. So today, I’m offering you my testimony.
This is what I felt was the best message for the moment – to seek the better. To seek the things of a better world. To seek the better part.
