It just isn’t possible for us to progress without our God. Our weaknesses, our sins all hold us back from that progress if we try to do it alone. We desperately need God.

Choosing Christ-like Love
It’s these moments of spontaneous Christ-like service that convince me people really are capable of building communities of love and peace. No second thoughts or excuses, no hesitation to serve – just unconditional, everyday love.
Simple Spiritual Reminders
There are some days we just need reminders of simple, powerful truths. These simple things are what we truly build our testimonies on, and they are the hopes that keep us going in faith when nothing else can keep us going.
Christ-like Lessons I’ve Learned From Mothers
Christ is our perfect example in all things. Our goal is to become more like Him, and that means learning a lot while we’re here on earth. But learning to be like Christ by only reading the scriptures will only get you so far. We also need to learn of Christ in our day-to-day lives, which means looking for Christ in those around us. Mothers are probably the best examples of this. We spend so much time around them while we’re young and their examples (along with our fathers’ examples) make the greatest impact on us.
Making Home Like the Temple
The temple brings a spirit that can’t be felt in many other places. But it is a spirit we can invite into our own lives when we establish places like the temple – sanctuaries – that can give us space from the world and a place to focus on our Savior.
The Price Our Father Paid for Us
Our Father’s sacrifices, aside from their role in bringing about our opportunity for progression and recovery in the first place, also highlight for us the absolute priority our progression holds in our Father’s eyes.
Christ Chose Easter
Easter is a time that brings a lot of reflection. I find myself thinking about my standing before God more than other times of the year and about all that Christ did. His life, His mission, His love are all more front of mind, and it makes this time of year sacred.
Repentance – A Freedom Sweet
Repentance is literally our key to returning to our God. It is a gift from Christ through His Atonement to make sure it is possible for us to have agency and to grow and progress without being permanently lost.
The Power of the Words of God
The words of Christ and His prophets are still the most powerful I’ve read. Their words are overwhelming in their truth and doctrine. Testimonies of God, of change, of healing, of progress, and of power fill the pages of scripture.
The Greatest Love
The greatest love of all is the love of our God – the shared love for us from our Father and our Savior.
