It just isn’t possible for us to progress without our God. Our weaknesses, our sins all hold us back from that progress if we try to do it alone. We desperately need God.

Christ-like Lessons I’ve Learned From Mothers
Christ is our perfect example in all things. Our goal is to become more like Him, and that means learning a lot while we’re here on earth. But learning to be like Christ by only reading the scriptures will only get you so far. We also need to learn of Christ in our day-to-day lives, which means looking for Christ in those around us. Mothers are probably the best examples of this. We spend so much time around them while we’re young and their examples (along with our fathers’ examples) make the greatest impact on us.
Making Home Like the Temple
The temple brings a spirit that can’t be felt in many other places. But it is a spirit we can invite into our own lives when we establish places like the temple – sanctuaries – that can give us space from the world and a place to focus on our Savior.
The Price Our Father Paid for Us
Our Father’s sacrifices, aside from their role in bringing about our opportunity for progression and recovery in the first place, also highlight for us the absolute priority our progression holds in our Father’s eyes.

Finding Peace in My Life
While we face challenges, loss, and fear in this life, God has promised great things in the future. Hope for those things brings peace as we trust that God will fulfill His promises to us. We can have peace, hope, joy, and more in this life even when things seem hard to bear.
Christ Chose Easter
Easter is a time that brings a lot of reflection. I find myself thinking about my standing before God more than other times of the year and about all that Christ did. His life, His mission, His love are all more front of mind, and it makes this time of year sacred.
Caring for the Spiritually Needy
One of the biggest hallmarks of the Savior’s ministry on Earth was His capacity to love and serve all those around Him. Many of the stories we read about Him involve physically healing the sick. But what is interesting to note is that He did not just heal the bodies of these people, but their spirits as well.
